## Description

We're seeking an enthusiastic Junior Model Maker to assist in preparing 3D-printed parts and test organisation. This role involves working closely with Model Makers, Model Design, Mechanical Design, Aerodynamics, and the Additive Manufacturing team to deliver high-quality components for wind tunnel testing.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Team Leaders and Model Makers to develop wind tunnel models and testing programs

- Provide flexible attendance, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the aero testing program

- Communicate effectively with all groups within the Aero department

- Execute day-to-day tasks, supporting model shop activities and wind tunnel work

- Manage time effectively in conjunction with departmental needs

- Maintain good relationships with existing staff and support colleagues

- Work professionally, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors

- Provide cover for logistics and driving duties where needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable

- Good craft skills and attention to detail

- UK driving license for manual vehicles up to 3500kg

- Flexibility to work on shifts

- Ability to scope tasks thoroughly, identify issues, and discuss concerns

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and professionally with colleagues
