## Description

We are seeking a Supervisor, Culinary Services to oversee daily operations of retail, catering, or patient meals within our Culinary Services department. You will provide direction to create an exceptional experience for patients and guests, ensuring system-level best practice standards, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead team and daily operations of assigned areas

- Manage human resources functions, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff

- Ensure food safety standards and regulatory guidelines are met

- Assist in scheduling and manage overtime and premium pay within budget

- Resolve issues such as service recovery and coaching caregivers

- Implement established best practices to deliver exceptional care and service

- Assist in keeping storage areas clean and organised

**Requirements:**

- Demonstrated ability to work in a commercial kitchen and lead a diverse team

- Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required (in Utah and Idaho)

- ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire date if not current

- Highly effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certified Dietary Manager Certification

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and monitors

- Frequent interactions with customers requiring communication and understanding

- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment with precision and accuracy

- Expected to lift and utilise full range of movement to transport equipment

- Remain standing for long periods of time

**Schedule:**

- Sunday: 6am-2:30pm

- Monday: 6am-2:30pm

- Wednesday: 1:30pm-10pm

- Thursday: 1:30pm-10pm

- + one more 8hr shift (negotiable)

**Salary:** $22.24 - $32.70 per hour
