## Description

We are seeking an Academy Performance Coach to join our team at Red Bull New York Academy.

As an Academy Performance Coach, you will be responsible for leading strength and conditioning coaching of assigned players in alignment with the academy Athletic Development Framework.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and leading on-field movement programs, including position-specific speed, agility, and change of direction fundamentals

- Managing and implementing physical testing protocols for assigned age groups

- Collecting, analysing, and providing feedback on growth and maturation data

- Managing load monitoring data to inform performance, training, recovery, and injury prevention strategies

- Maintaining accurate records of data collected

- Staying up-to-date with research in athletic development to ensure best practices are applied

- Developing a data-informed approach to enhancing performance and athlete management

- Being a creative and outside-the-box thinker when developing content for delivery

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Exercise Science or a related field

- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification

- CPR certification

- Interest and knowledge of soccer

- Previous experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an advantage

- Previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary sports department is preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and build trust and relationships with players and staff
