## Description

We are seeking a Product Development Associate to join our Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of international fund legal vehicles and their sub-funds.

Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with MSIM Portfolio Management teams on new product development or product modifications

- Acting as a regional subject matter expert and go-to resource for product-related queries from Asia-based teams

- Liaising with local Asian external counsels and coordinating filings for new fund registrations and de-registrations

- Overseeing and maintaining fund registrations across Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, and future Asian jurisdictions

- Facilitating oversight and governance of new product initiatives and material changes to existing products

- Producing, responding to, and contributing to Asian regulatory requests, surveys, and periodic reports

- Leading and project managing new fund launches

- Managing relationships with product stakeholders across divisions

- Working with Distribution and investment teams on innovating new solutions for clients

- Driving new product development opportunities to grow product range and assets under management

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Good knowledge and understanding of product development of both Asian and European public funds and UCITs structures

- Experience working within a team in asset management or finance, ideally in Product, Finance, Legal, or Operations

- Strong quantitative, qualitative, and commercial skills

- Broad understanding of the asset management industry and its various operating functions

- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
