## Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the pharmacy team at Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals as a Pharmacy Purchasing and Distribution Manager. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team of pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacists.

The main duties of the job include:

- Managing the operational running of the Pharmacy Purchasing Office

- Deputising for the Pharmacy Purchasing and Distribution Lead

- Ensuring efficient Pharmacy stock and medicines management service on assigned wards

- Managing the purchasing, supply, and stock levels of medical and special gases

- Maintaining Pharmacy computer files with current prices and contract details

- Investigating purchasing and invoicing queries

- Providing support to the Harefield pharmacy distribution team site

- Ensuring infection prevention and control is an integral part of service delivery

The salary for this role is £38,488 to £46,852 per annum.

- Good communication skills

- Understanding of NHS Pharmacy procurement
- Invoicing experience
- Experience of writing procedures
- Experience of training and supervising staff
