## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of patients with various physical conditions.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and a Licence to practise as a Physical Therapist in the state in which they work. You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical therapy, with a preference for 7 years of experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Interpret physician referrals and complete musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations

- Establish a plan of care and implement individual treatment based on evaluation results, functional goals, and utilise appropriate techniques

- Monitor and evaluate outcomes and adjust the individualised treatment plan based on the patient's response to treatment

- Identify factors affecting patient's physical and psychosocial comfort and attend to these needs

- Act as a department and system-wide resource within area of Clinical Specialisation for treatment plans and outcomes

**Requirements:**

- Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State upon which you work

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (obtained within 90 days unless department leader has determined is not required)

- 5 years of experience with preferred 7 years of experience in physical therapy

- Strong computer skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills

- Ability to be flexible and problem-solve, making frequent independent decisions

**Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:**

- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, and squat throughout the workday

- Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 10 lbs. from waist to overhead, lift and carry up to 40 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance

- Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force, perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present
