## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their team at Slingshot Studios in Hyderabad. As an intern, you will report to the Technical Director or Lead Engineer and contribute to building new game features, improving code performance, and participating in technical discussions.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in building new game features

- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-quality experiences

- Improve code performance, focusing on reducing load times and enhancing frame rates

- Engage in code reviews and retrospectives to enhance code bases and processes

- Contribute to technical discussions for planning major tech-driven features and roadmaps

- Write clear documentation and adhere to coding standards

Qualifications:

- Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms

- Strong programming skills

- Ability to learn quickly and channel curiosity into targeted learning

- Creative problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with modern Agentic AI coding harnesses

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in game development or playing games

- Proficiency in languages such as C++, C#, Java, or PHP

- Understanding of 3D mathematics used in games

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
