## Description

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Operations Command Center to oversee daily operations support functions in Kansas City, Missouri.

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the daily Operations Support functions for the Kansas City Operations Command Center, supervise and coach staff, and work varied shifts, including 12-hour shifts, 3-days one week, 4 days the following week (partial weekends) 6am to 6pm.

Key responsibilities include:

- Establishing and managing departmental procedures and standards to ensure prompt resolution of network problems and maximum network availability

- Directing and coordinating actions taken by department personnel and external technical support groups to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner

- Providing leadership, direction, development, and supervision to staff, ensuring they have the right skills and behaviors

- Communicating objectives, expectations, and performance results to staff and senior management

- Providing technical and advisory support to staff for performance metrics development and implementation

- Assisting in financial planning, evaluating financial requirements, and meeting financial objectives

- Designing and developing reports using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access

- Providing business knowledge and process enhancements across the development/technical lifecycle

- Ensuring timely and accurate performance communications and process compliance

- Working closely with development staff and requesters to identify data requirements for new or enhanced performance monitoring systems

- Managing Business Continuity Planning for assigned departments

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of training and experience

- Advanced business knowledge within a data center environment

- Advanced knowledge of telecommunications technology and processes

- Experience managing technical staff in a 24x7 environment

- Strong analytical skills with extended experience in database analysis

- Ability to communicate facts and ideas clearly both orally and in writing

- Strong PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
