## Description

As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for performing warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks, as well as operating box trucks to deliver finished goods to customers in a timely manner.

Specific responsibilities include: Loading and unloading freight Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment Performing final inspection/dock check on all outbound customer orders Receiving and properly storing finished product Delivering drums, totes and small packed goods like 5 gallon pails and grease cases Operating manual pallet jack to offload pallets from the rear of truck when applicable Complying with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures Reporting defects, accidents or violations immediately Maintaining a clean work environment and performing general warehouse upkeep/maintenance

Qualifications we are looking for: High school education or equivalent Valid CDL Class B license with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements Experienced with operation of fork trucks, and loading and unloading trucks At least 2 years' experience driving a CDL vehicle Ability to meet all company standards and DOT requirements for vehicles and drivers Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Ability to read a map and accurately plan a route Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills with ability to read English and write legibly Basic math skills required Straight truck, box trailer and tanker experience a plus Safety conscious
