### Job Purpose

The Principal - Product Owner for Biometric Authentication Solution is responsible for maximising the value of a Biometric Solutions product by translating business needs into a prioritised backlog and leading delivery across the product lifecycle.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand functional needs and define product outcomes.

- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring epics, features and user stories are well defined.

- Make backlog prioritisation decisions based on value, cost, risk and business continuity.

- Lead product delivery activities, guiding Product Analysts and working with Engineers, Architects and Testers.

- Drive operational readiness using a structured checklist.

- Define and maintain the product performance dashboard.

- Ensure product changes follow required security, data, quality, validation, change and regulatory controls.

### Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.

- Typically 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, business analysis, digital solutions, technology delivery or process-led technology roles.

- Experience in biometric solutions, product lifecycle management, requirements gathering, backlog and acceptance management, agile/iterative delivery.

### Preferred Qualifications:

- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain product decisions and technology constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong facilitation skills for discovery, backlog refinement, prioritisation, demonstrations and acceptance discussions.

- Analytical judgement to balance value, risk, cost, complexity, urgency and operational impact.
