## Description

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Executive Communications Writer to support and scale the ways its leaders tell its story.

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Executive Communications and other organization leaders to reach priority audiences in ways that compellingly communicate Anthropic's position at the AI research frontier, market-leading commercial posture, and industry-leading commitment to public benefit.

Responsibilities:

- Originate and shape exceptional executive communications that span a wide array of written and rhetorical formats and platforms

- Work cross-functionally with External Communications colleagues and other subject matter experts to drive consequential communications moments that serve strategic goals

- Support senior leaders in developing their areas of communications focus and in their preparation for major communications moments

- Balance a collaborative ethic with a strategic point of view

Requirements:

- 8+ years of high-level executive communications experience, ideally at a high-tempo, industry-shaping organization

- Exceptional writing and communication skills

- High agency and low ego

- Comfort and experience in supporting senior leaders

- Point of view on how forces of change are reshaping traditional communications disciplines, including executive communications

- Strong operational capabilities

- Self-driven with a bias to action

- Excellent judgment and instincts in navigating ambiguous situations

- Epistemic humility while making informed decisions

- Open and curious mindset to deeply understand technical concepts

The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.
