## Description

As an Associate Cell Culture Scientist at Bayer, you will develop and optimise chemical and biological processes to enhance yield, quality, and cost. You will contribute to process transfers from laboratory to production and provide technical expertise to maintain competitive production processes.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

- Designing and conducting moderate to complex process development experiments to advance mAb and cell therapy programs

- Executing and following GMP requirements during clinical manufacturing activities

- Analysing experimental data and translating findings into actionable process improvements

- Evaluating and implementing new methods and techniques to improve process performance and robustness

- Troubleshooting failed experiments and proposing corrective actions

- Providing guidance and training to laboratory technicians

- Preparing clear analytical reports and maintaining well-organised laboratory documentation

- Collaborating across cross-functional teams to support process transfers and interdisciplinary projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A BS in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience in process development or bioprocess work

- Hands-on experience designing and executing cell culture and/or mAb process development experiments

- Working knowledge of GMP principles and experience supporting clinical or commercial manufacturing activities

- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting experimental results and troubleshooting laboratory processes

- Proven ability to document work thoroughly and prepare reports

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree or additional relevant experience in bioprocess development or cell therapy scale-up.

The salary range for this position is $79,920.00 - $119,880.00 per year, with additional compensation and benefits.
