## Description

We are seeking a Chief Accountant to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with local legislation, maintaining accurate and transparent accounting records, and providing timely financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Guarantee compliance with local legislation, including statutory accounting standards, tax law, and civil law.

- Ensure accurate, transparent, and complete accounting records.

- Prepare and distribute financial reports to stakeholders.

- Assist with year-end audits and manage relationships with external auditors.

- Drive efficiency by streamlining processes and utilizing available tools.

- Integrate accounting operations from a process, systems, and control perspective.

- Establish effective tax management in cooperation with tax specialists.

- Prepare reports on cash flow and working capital development.

Requirements:

- Relevant accounting qualification (Certified Management Accountant).

- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar organisation.

- English language skills.

- Knowledge of local tax regulations, local GAAP, and IFRS.

- Strong leadership skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- IT literacy and SAP HANNA knowledge.
