## Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer - Machining to join our team at Ford in Chihuahua, Mexico.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the integration, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems for crankshaft and cylinder head production lines.

## Responsibilities

- Coordinate the integration of PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, actuators, and automation equipment for the production lines.

- Review supplier-provided programs, electrical diagrams, signal lists, and technical documentation.

- Ensure communication between stations and integration with plant systems according to defined standards.

- Participate in testing, installation, debugging, and commissioning of equipment.

- Diagnose control faults and coordinate resolution with suppliers and internal teams.

- Verify that machinery safety controls are integrated and tested with the safety team.

- Deliver documentation, program backups, and maintenance standards.

- Train Maintenance and Production personnel in basic system usage and diagnostics.

## Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Experience in industrial controls and commissioning of machinery or manufacturing lines.

- Practical experience with PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, drives, and electrical diagnostics.

- Desirable experience with Bosch Rexroth & Siemens (Sinumerik one) equipment.

- Ability to coordinate with integrators and suppliers, review progress, and resolve issues during startup.

- Availability to work on the production floor and participate in commissioning activities.
