## Description

We are seeking a Radiographer to join our team at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield. This is a part-time role for 15 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, producing high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis, and providing a safe, dignified, and person-centred service to patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography

- Adapting techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics, and patients with limited mobility

- Monitoring patients' conditions during procedures and responding appropriately to any signs of deterioration

- Ensuring equipment is checked, maintained, and used safely and effectively

- Working closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- A BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification

- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer

- Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment with a minimum of 6 months UK hospital experience

- Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health and safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
