## Description

As our Senior Financial Controller you'll report to the Lead Financial Controller and be responsible for our credit products and areas of credit risk at Tide.

Responsibilities:

- Controllership of Tide's proprietary credit offerings over 3 Tide Capital companies with varying credit products.

- Ownership of month-end processes for reporting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

- Documenting and reviewing loss provisioning policies for credit risk, fraud, and disputes.

- Ensuring strong control of new APPF fraud legislation.

- Working closely with Tide Credit Services, product, and operations teams to understand product performance.

- Handling the introduction of new credit lending products.

- Collaborating with collections, risk, and FP&A teams.

- Representing the finance team at Credit Risk Working Group and Risk and Compliance Committee.

- Building robust financial control processes.

- Maintaining relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting advisors.

Requirements:

- Experience in financial services, preferably in technology-driven & scale-up environments.

- Experience with credit products and provisioning for credit risk.

- Strong financial acumen and excellent technical accounting skills.

- Professional finance qualification.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
