## Description

Working within our Loss Prevention team at NEXT's Bluewater store, you'll support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment, providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimise loss.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring stores feel safe and secure places to work and shop

- Building strong relationships with store teams and local police

- Identifying high-risk areas and acting as a deterrent on the shop floor

- Engaging with store management to ensure company LP standards are adhered to

- Performing other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager, including out-of-hours surveillance and LP auditing

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

- Previous security experience in a retail environment (preferred)

- Flexibility and willingness to work across different stores and opening times

- Ability to travel to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance from your home address

- Commitment to keeping store teams and customers safe

- Organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Self-motivation and initiative

- Strong communication skills to build relationships with store teams, police, and customers

- Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings

- Familiarity with IT systems and computers (preferred)
