We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineering, Sr Staff Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India.

As a seasoned professional with 8-10+ years of hands-on design experience, particularly in Physical Verification and backend physical design, you will work on IC Validator (Physical Verification Platform) and backend physical design. You will utilize your understanding of advanced process nodes, physical design, and low power design methodologies to leverage your scripting skills to automate processes.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve the efficiency of our design process, contribute to the development of high-performance silicon chips and software content, drive innovation in our product offerings, enhance our team's skill set with your expertise, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and influence the future of technology at Synopsys.

Responsibilities:

- Work on IC Validator (Physical Verification Platform) and backend physical design.

- Use ICV, ICCII, Fusion Compiler or EDA tools as required. Hands on experience with other PV tools is a plus.

- Leverage your understanding of advanced process nodes, physical design, and low power design methodologies.

- Utilize your scripting skills to automate processes.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

- BS/MS with 8-10+ years of direct hands-on design experience.

- Proficiency in Physical Verification in backend physical design.

- Experience with ICV, PXL, Fusion Compiler, Runset coding knowledge is a plus.

- Solid scripting skills.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl and TCL.

- Business level English and presentation skills.
