## Description

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Polyvalent Officer to contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and quality of project activities in the Diffa region of Niger.

The successful candidate will support the implementation of activities in the sectors of Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI), WASH, Health, and Nutrition, in close collaboration with IRC teams and targeted communities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Contributing to the implementation and monitoring of project activities in the NFI, WASH, Health, and Nutrition sectors

- Ensuring operational monitoring of activities in the field to guarantee their quality, conformity, and timely completion

- Participating in needs assessments, beneficiary targeting and registration, distribution monitoring, community sensitization activities, and post-distribution monitoring

- Monitoring the implementation of WASH activities, including water supply, sanitation, hygiene promotion, and infrastructure management

- Supporting the implementation of nutrition activities, including mobile clinics, community-based management of acute malnutrition, and blanket supplementary feeding

- Providing regular accompaniment and support to implementing partners

- Contributing to data collection, verification, and reporting

- Ensuring compliance with IRC procedures, donor requirements, and humanitarian standards

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least three years of experience in emergency humanitarian project implementation

- Experience working with local implementing partners

- Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and practices

- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and build strong relationships with communities, partners, and IRC staff
