## Description

The post is for a 10 PA Consultant in Sexual Health & HIV Medicine, a locum position for 12 months. The successful candidate will work at 56 Dean Street, an award-winning HIV and sexual health service based in Soho, London.

The role involves providing advice, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with STIs, including HIV infection. The post-holder will also participate in quality improvement, research, and management of the service, and contribute to monthly departmental meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing consultant advice and support to the multidisciplinary team working in HIV and GUM clinics

- Managing their own caseload of HIV patients

- Participating in the local HIV multidisciplinary meeting at 56 Dean Street

- Contributing to the implementation of clinical pathways

- Developing a special interest clinic, such as gender dysphoria or complex PrEP

The salary range for this position is £105,504 to £139,882 per year.

The ideal candidate will have relevant CCT or equivalent experience, extensive knowledge and skills in GUM & HIV practice, and experience of audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance.
