## Description

As a MRF Control Room Operator at Biffa Waste Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the refinement area of the plant to ensure a safe, clean, and productive environment is maintained at all times.

The role involves:

- Operating the MRF to achieve desired outputs and required quality

- Monitoring KPIs such as tonnage throughput, downtime, and availability

- Maintaining high levels of housekeeping to ensure Health & Safety and Environmental compliance

- Dealing with blockages inside the MRF as they arise

- Providing light maintenance of equipment through autonomous maintenance practices

The ideal candidate will have:

- A good understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance

- Experience in collecting data/recording/communication of operational data

- Knowledge of MRF plant operations (advantageous)

- A good understanding of process figures with a drive to hit targets

- Strong Microsoft Office skills
