## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Credit Solutions, to join our Innovation Banking team in San Francisco. As a critical member of a lean team, you will focus on due diligence, deal structuring, and portfolio management, as well as presenting with internal partners regarding the Innovation Banking division's debt portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients and prospects to build and maintain relationships

- Structure venture debt facilities and other bank product credit limits

- Perform key underwriting functions, including KPI analysis and financial modeling

- Ensure accurate internal documentation of debt facilities and financial reporting

- Build and maintain a portfolio management framework

- Review information and communicate on clients' performance internally

- Develop a firm understanding of HSBC's banking products and markets

Requirements:

- Experience in debt underwriting with a focus on the technology sector

- Ability to analyze business models, financial statements, and KPIs

- Ability to assess and handle credit risks

- Proficiency in Excel and databases such as Pitchbook or Crunchbase
