## Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Director to join our Birmingham office, focusing on the Data Centre sector with our Mission Critical Facilities team.

As a Technical Director, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that ensure the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data centre operations.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead a team of skilled engineers and drive strategic initiatives

- Collaborate with industry leaders to shape the future of data centre technology

- Optimise energy consumption, enhance security protocols, and ensure seamless integration of emerging technologies

- Build a robust professional network, opening doors to new opportunities and collaborations

- Develop client relationships and promote new commissions

- Oversee team performance, including work pipeline, finance, and operational management

- Work with clients, developers, contractors, and architects to secure WSP's position as the engineer of choice

Requirements:

- Chartership through CIBSE/IET Engineering Council or willingness to work towards it

- Electrical design engineering expertise, including power distribution, power generation, and critical backup systems

- Innovative problem-solving and leadership skills

- Strategic vision and project management proficiency

- Excellent communication skills and adaptability

- Customer focus and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
