## Description

GitLab is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Trusted Agentic Development team within the Developer Experience group. The successful candidate will lead the team in building platforms for validating agent-generated software with confidence.

The team's primary focus is on creating a platform that allows GitLab engineers to validate agent-generated software efficiently. This involves defining what validation means when the author is an agent, making the feedback loop fast, automatic, and trustworthy.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building and growing the team by hiring and developing engineers experienced in agentic development

- Setting direction for validating agent-built software in partnership with the team

- Focusing the team on the highest-impact problems

- Earning adoption across GitLab by building relationships with engineering teams

- Measuring engineer adoption and trust through real usage

- Staying close to technical work by engaging in architecture and design discussions

- Running the team with clear goals, direct feedback, and honest performance management

The ideal candidate will have direct experience using AI agents to build software, experience leading engineering teams through ambiguous problems, and the ability to drive adoption through influence.

Poland base salary range: 296,000 PLN – 444,000 PLN
