## Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to join our Rocket Motor Systems team. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for developing new rocket motor products and enabling the scaling of high-volume rocket motor production. You will ensure rigorous engineering development processes are in place, driving the consistent delivery of superior quality products.

As the Sr. Manager of Engineering, your role is to provide strategic oversight and tactical management for our engineering teams. You will own the tactical execution of product development work, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engineering products.

Key responsibilities include:

- Cultivating a proactive, responsive team culture emphasizing ownership, quality, and appropriate engineering rigor

- Setting clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations for teams and individuals

- Managing and prioritizing team resource allocation to effectively support multiple product development programs

- Recruiting, hiring, and retaining top-tier engineering talent

- Ensuring alignment between product and technical roadmaps and overall business objectives

Required qualifications include:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field)

- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in engineering leadership and management roles, with a focus on end-to-end technical delivery

- Demonstrated experience in developing and scaling complex hardware products, specifically rocket motors or similar high-volume, high-precision systems

Salary: $165,000 - $218,000 USD per year
