## Description

We are seeking a Shift Leader to join our team at our Plastics Recycling Facility (PRF) in Aldridge. As a Shift Leader, you will efficiently organise and supervise the operation of the PRF, ensuring health and safety and environmental compliance, whilst driving continuous improvement in productivity, plant availability, and product quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Monitor and control all resources within the plant, including people and equipment

- Ensure productivity and availability exceed minimum defined standards

- Control material flow into and out of the process to minimise downtime

- Provide accurate and detailed records of plant operations, settings, and stoppages

- Support the engineering team in developing a programme of planned preventative maintenance

**Essential Requirements:**

- Experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role in waste management

- Experience of people and health and safety management in a unionised and multi-shift environment

- Understanding of the waste industry and relevant laws

- Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPIs

- Good communication and planning skills
