Join HSBC and experience the possibilities of a career that will unlock new opportunities. As a Research Analyst in our Institutional Equities team, you will work with a seasoned writing lead analyst covering research on Metals & Mining and Cement sector stocks in India.

Our Markets business is one of the largest of its kind in the world, combining sophisticated 24-hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets. We specialise in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- Explore highly detailed company analysis and gain a wider, macro level view on the sector.

- Leverage primary and secondary research skills to build and maintain industry models.

- Assist in building and maintenance of company financial models.

- Produce quality research products such as industry thematic, company initiation and cover periodical updates on the sector.

- Identify key industry trends and exciting investment ideas within your research scope.

Key requirements for the role:

- 2-5 years of work-experience in sell-side equity research.

- Past research experience covering Metals & Mining and Cement sector will be preferred.

- Excellent communications skills along with fluency in English language.

- Educational qualifications: CA/CFA/MBA from Tier I Institutions.

- Strong team ethics, entrepreneurial mindset and, desire to work within a fast-paced environment.
