## Description

IOM Indonesia is seeking an intern to support the implementation of Refugee Care activities in Batam. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Field Office and will be responsible for providing support for day-to-day implementation of Refugee Care activities.

Responsibilities include:

- Participating in relevant Refugee Care and Migration Health programme activities

- Supporting the implementation of Migration Health and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support activities

- Co-facilitating general/non-clinical counselling sessions

- Maintaining documentation and record-keeping for training sessions, meetings, and other Migration Health unit initiatives

- Supporting the Migration Health unit in the collection and maintenance of data related to mental health and psychosocial support

- Providing assistance in health-related activities, including awareness sessions and health cadre meetings

- Supporting the implementation of Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration and related movement operations

Requirements:

- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme in Public health, Medical health, Psychology, Social Welfare, Social Work, Education, or a related field

- Relevant professional or volunteer experience with civil society organizations, volunteer groups is an advantage

- Excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, email exchange, Microsoft Office)

- Flexible and open to learning new experiences

- Good interpersonal, networking, and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied culture and professional backgrounds

- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written)

The internship is expected to last for 6 months, and the selected candidate will receive a small monthly stipend to help offset costs.
