## Description

As a Field Service Technician with IQVIA MedTech CFS, you will have the opportunity to utilise your technical expertise by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices in hospitals throughout the United States, with the support of an on-site team.

This role offers a flexible schedule, opportunities for growth and expansion into new areas, and supplemental income while learning the medical device industry.

### Job Responsibilities:

- Organise, test, and update medical devices, install and configure hardware, software, and network products.

- Set up and organise equipment and workstations.

- Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.

- Manage project timelines and customer needs.

### Schedule:

- Part-time commitment requiring travel and flexibility, with typical weeks entailing 40+ hours of work.

- Assignment-based schedule, typically requiring 1–3 weeks onsite, with 3 weeks of open availability per month.

- National travel required to support customer needs, specifically two weeks in Batesville for local setup of new products and 1 week travelling to perform installs at customer locations.

### Travel Needs:

- An active and unrestricted driver's license is required.

- Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home.

- Must be located within 1 hour of a major airport.

### Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of related technical experience required.

- 3+ years of experience in a field technical role with a focus on both hardware and software installations preferred.

- Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred.

- Prior military veterans with experience in electronics, maintenance, or IT-related MOS encouraged to apply.

- Professional business acumen, including communication and soft skills, required.

- Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.

- Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.

- Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.

### Preferred Qualifications:

- Biomedical Technician experience is a plus but not necessary.

### Vaccine/Immunization/Hospital Credentialing Requirement:

- Upon selection, individuals must complete the healthcare facility credentialing process, which includes meeting immunisation requirements specified by the facility.

### Additional Information:

- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship; candidates must have authorisation to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.

The potential base pay range for this role is $27-$30 per hour.
