## Description

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Assistant Lawyer to join our highly regarded Complex Injury team in Manchester.

You'll work closely with an experienced Partner on a fascinating caseload of Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims, with values ranging from £100 thousand through to several million.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage investigations and identify key liability and quantum issues

- Review and analyse medical, liability and quantum evidence

- Interview witnesses and prepare witness statements

- Draft legal documentation, pleadings and applications

- Liaise with clients, insurers, experts, counsel and other stakeholders

- Attend conferences, mediations, settlement meetings and court hearings

- Support the development of case strategy and claim resolution

We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks, working proactively and helping drive matters forward.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- Strong experience handling personal injury litigation matters

- Experience on either the claimant or defendant side

- Excellent investigation and analytical skills

- A proactive approach and ability to work independently

- Strong understanding of liability and quantum issues

- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills

- The ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines

- A positive, collaborative attitude and desire to continue developing professionally
