## Description

Join our Next Distribution Post Room team as a Post Room Operative for a 3-month temporary position based in South Elmsall, Pontefract.

In this role, you will be crucial in managing daily mail and parcel operations, ensuring timely delivery across our campus. You will work closely with the distribution team, receiving full training, including a professional Next van driver assessment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming mail: open, sort, and distribute letters and parcels efficiently.

- Coordinate outbound goods: organise and prepare outgoing mail and packages for dispatch.

- Drive between sites: safely operate a Next company van to transport parcels.

- Keep accurate digital records: track and log parcel data using Google Sheets and email.

- Collaborate across the business: build relationships and communicate clearly with teams.

Requirements:

- Valid UK Driving Licence (Category B).

- Strong digital skills: proficient in Google Sheets and email.

- Great communication skills.

- Excellent organisational skills.

- Physical stamina: comfortable with lifting heavy objects and walking long distances.
