### Job Description

As a Backend Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you will join a Zerto development team working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Your primary responsibilities will include developing new features, solving challenging bugs, and contributing to a distributed, multi-service system with complex business logic.

### Responsibilities

- Develop new features and solve challenging bugs.

- Contribute to a distributed, multi-service system with complex business logic.

- Work with a modern, continuously evolving technology stack, including Kubernetes, .NET Core, virtualization APIs, and more.

- Use AI throughout the software development lifecycle,including research, design, coding, code reviews, environment provisioning, product deployment, and bug analysis,with tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Atlassian Rovo, and MCP servers.

### Requirements

- A high-achieving undergraduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with a GPA of 85 or higher and at least two years of study remaining.

- Available to work three to four days per week (approximately 60%–80%) in a hybrid work model.

- A solid understanding of object-oriented programming using C#, C++, or Java.

- A self-motivated learner who can develop a broad understanding of complex systems through training, documentation, and independent exploration.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

- Passionate about using AI in your daily work, eager to explore new AI-powered approaches, and committed to continuously improving how you use these tools.
