## Description

As a Senior Engineer in Performance & Simulation, you will play a key role in optimising race car performance and participating in road car projects that facilitate technology transfer from race to road cars.

You will optimise car performance through simulation and data analysis, continuously improving internal methodologies and processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to enhance the performance and reliability of Le Mans Hypercar, GT3, and road car projects.

**Responsibilities:**

- Analyse simulation results from various tools and track data to evaluate vehicle performance

- Identify areas for improvement and recommend design or process modifications

- Conduct investigative studies to enhance vehicle performance using analytical or simulation approaches

- Validate simulation models by comparing predictions with real-world data

- Develop and implement metrics (KPIs) to support performance analysis optimisation

- Apply and develop in-house optimisation techniques to enhance vehicle performance and reliability

- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through written documentation

- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and methodologies

**Requirements:**

- Academic degree in mechanical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; a Ph.D. may be advantageous

- High proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and MATLAB

- Knowledge of vehicle science areas, including Vehicle Dynamics, Tyres, Suspension, Aerodynamics, or Control Systems

- Experience with vehicle dynamics simulation software

- Proficiency with time-series data viewer software such as ATLAS or Wintax

- Knowledge and experience of signal processing theory and techniques

- Familiarity with optimisation theory and techniques

- Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning may be an advantage
