## Description

We are seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader to join our team at Target. As an Assets Protection Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a security culture, implementing daily/weekly Assets Protection workload priorities, responding to external and internal theft incidents, and preventing future theft.

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.50 - $25.50, and the full pay range for this position per hour is $23.50 - $39.95. Pay is based on several factors, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

As an Assets Protection Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience in areas such as:

- Leading a security culture, including crisis response and crowd management planning

- Implementing daily/weekly Assets Protection workload priorities to support business priorities and deliver on goals

- Responding to external and internal theft incidents and preventing future theft

- Partnering with store business leaders on operational shortage priorities

- Leading a team of hourly team members, including leveraging skills in interviewing, developing, evaluating, and retaining talent

A typical day for an Assets Protection Team Leader may include:

- Consistently delivering guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience

- Ensuring every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target's guest experience commitments and consistent operations

- Actively observing and providing feedback, holding team members accountable while recognising great guest experience moments

- Reviewing area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, taking action to improve, and aligning team on the right behaviours and execution

- Supporting total store sales and increasing profitability by ensuring products are in stock and available to guests

- Influencing and validating physical security and safety processes

- Participating in store response and emergency crisis situations

- Creating security plans for in-store events

To be successful in this role, you should:

- Be at least 18 years old

- Have a high school degree or equivalent

- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position

- Have previous retail and/or loss prevention experience (preferred but not required)

- Be able to lead and hold others accountable

- Be able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

- Be able to work independently and as part of a team

- Be able to manage your workload and prioritise tasks independently

- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude

- Have effective communication skills
