## Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

You will be the Quality Analytics Site Lead at Anduril's high-volume manufacturing site in Ashville, OH. You will operate at the intersection of hardware manufacturing and data analytics, building analytics tools and implementing them in well-designed, actionable dashboards.

**Responsibilities:**

- Operate at the intersection of Analytics and Manufacturing: You will analyze quality workflows, build analytics tools, and implement them in dashboards.

- Production Data: You'll pull from production systems, build pipelines and ontologies, and partner with engineers to ship analytics products.

- Develop & Operate Analytics for Arsenal 1: You will design, build, and operate production dashboards, pipelines, and quality metrics.

- Run intake and priorities for the site: Hold a standing feedback loop with operators, engineers, and program quality leads.

- Investigate data quality: Deep-dive analysis in SQL and Python to identify and fix root causes.

- Drive technical improvements: Implement robust data-quality checks, validation rules, and automated monitoring.

- Build AI-assisted analytics tools: Small apps and workflows that reduce repetitive analyst work.

- Lead data projects end-to-end: Partner with cross-functional teams from requirements through deployment.

- Drive adoption: Train operators, run office hours, track usage, and treat adoption as a deliverable.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 4+ years in a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role with at least 2 years applied data engineering experience in a manufacturing or hardware product engineering environment.

- Experience with Foundry, Databricks, or an equivalent cloud lake house.

- Strong SQL and Python skills.

- Demonstrated root-cause analysis on complex data issues.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience supporting analytics for hardware manufacturing.

- Experience as an embedded or site-resident engineer at a manufacturing site.

- Familiarity with quality methodologies.

- Defense or regulated-manufacturing experience.

- Software engineering practices: Git, code review, CI, and testing.

- Experience integrating LLMs or ML models into analytics workflows.

- Experience mentoring or leading a small team of engineers or analysts.

**Salary Range:** $165,000-$218,000 USD
