## Description

We're seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our team in South Shields. As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving awareness of our pharmacy services, and supporting our pharmacist team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers receive accurate and helpful advice on their health and wellbeing

- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and data protection

- Support the pharmacist with the delivery and effective record keeping of patient services, such as blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes

- Develop an understanding of our strict Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to them at all times

- Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers and bring them to the store for collection

**Requirements:**

- Friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication skills

- Highly organised and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

- Good computer skills and attention to detail

- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping people

**Development Opportunities:**

- Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months
