## Job Overview

We're seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Enterprise Platform & Technology (EPT) organization at Twitch. You'll work on integrating SAP systems with AWS, building cloud-native services, and implementing agentic AI to power finance and enterprise functions.

## Responsibilities

### SAP Engineering (~50%)

- Design, build, and maintain integrations between SAP and downstream systems.

- Write ABAP, SAP HANA SQL, and CDS views for business logic, reports, and data transformations.

- Develop and maintain SAP APIs for external systems, Fiori apps, and AWS-hosted middleware.

### AWS & Agentic AI Engineering (~50%)

- Build and operate AWS-native services that extend SAP capabilities.

- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK.

- Design, build, and ship agentic AI systems that automate finance operations.

- Create data pipelines to move financial data between SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications.

### Cross-cutting

- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Own production systems end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

## Requirements

### SAP

- 4+ years of hands-on SAP development experience (ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS views, BTP).

- Experience building integrations using File-Based and API-Based patterns.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA top-down development approach.

### AWS & Modern Engineering

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB).

- Proficiency in a modern language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java).

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily engineering workflow.

### Shared

- Experience testing and debugging APIs using tools like Bruno or Postman.

- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 authorization flows and OpenID Connect.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.

- Finance domain knowledge (FI/CO, FI/CA, AP, AR, GL).

## Nice to Have

- Experience building AI-powered automations or agentic workflows.

- Experience building Fiori applications using RAP.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded analytics.
