## Description

We are seeking an experienced Asset Servicing professional to join our Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC) Corporate Actions team in Kuala Lumpur.

As an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Actions team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day processing of corporate events for our institutional and retail clients in the domestic market.

The Opportunity:

- Learn and understand various types of corporate events and their life cycles

- Enroll in our Corporate Actions academy for comprehensive product training and knowledge testing

- Receive dedicated on-the-job training with a focused training plan for effective learning

Responsibilities:

- Process corporate events within required timeframes and ensure all instructions are processed accurately and on time

- Perform processing tasks according to operational manuals and report any deviations to the Manager

- Demonstrate high levels of competency and understanding in processing activities with high accuracy

- Escalate potential financial losses or client service concerns to the Manager promptly

- Maintain satisfactory audit, regulatory, and risk ratings and adhere to Group and Company policies and standards

- Analyze information, generate ideas, and solutions for decision-making

- Conduct periodic reviews of existing procedures to deliver efficiency and identify best practices

- Support team members on operational activities and provide coverage for the departmental Manager in their absence

Requirements:

- Postgraduate diploma or degree in any discipline

- Relevant securities background and knowledge with at least 12 months of securities experience

- Fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to read, write, and understand Cantonese

- Strong analytical, statistical, and data mining skills

- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize workloads, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure

Desired Skills:

- Experience in a securities processing environment

- Knowledge of Corporate Actions, Trade Settlement, Cash Payments/FXs in Global Custody or Direct Custody businesses
