## Lead, Advanced Practice Providers

Pomelo Care is the leading virtual medical practice for women and children, providing care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We combine proactive, 24/7 clinical care with technology that helps us reach patients earlier, identify risks sooner, and deliver personalized care throughout their journey.

### Role Description

You will lead a team of advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care focused on improving perinatal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of high-performing APPs delivering high-quality virtual maternity and infant care to patients.

- Monitor quality of care across the APP team, identifying training opportunities and working with the learning and development team to implement additional trainings.

- Support the team in addressing barriers to care identified by patients or the care team.

- Hold the APP team accountable for meeting Pomelo's clinical objectives and key results (OKRs), incorporating QA findings and individual performance metrics into 1:1 meetings.

- Provide insights on frontline care and opportunities for process improvements to leadership and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities for professional growth for each team member and support their goals.

- Participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates for open APP positions.

- Manage the onboarding process for newly hired APPs.

- Collaborate with Market and Care Operations teams to optimize patient-centered care.

### Who You Are

- Advanced Practice Provider (FNP, CNM, or WHNP) with a current unrestricted multi-state (compact) license.

- 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations.

- 3+ years of leadership experience.

- Internet-connected, ability to work remotely.

- Willing to travel occasionally (infrequent).

- Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism's role in maternal morbidity and mortality.

- Facility with multiple tech platforms and eagerness for advising on platform improvements and adapting to new systems.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Professionally engaged.

- Ability to cultivate a team of highly accountable APPs.

- Experience working with Medicaid populations preferred.

### Schedule

- Monday - Friday, 12pm-8pm EST.
