Job Title: Director, Business Development, Maneuver Dominance Group 3 UAS

Location: Washington, DC

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Business Development, to join our Maneuver Dominance Group 3 UAS team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through the identification, pursuit, and capture of new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Drive multi-functional, diverse teams in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Generate and capture business opportunities by identifying, pursuing, and shaping opportunities for existing, in-development, and new platforms and capabilities.

- Grow existing business by partnering with adjacent business lines and product engineers to identify opportunities for business growth with current clients.

- Communicate our value to customers by projecting the company's ethos and conveying insights that illustrate our approach to building next-generation defense technology.

- Inform product development by translating customer problem sets into actionable internal plans and product roadmaps.

Requirements:

- Proven development and growth leader with experience building, executing, and winning business capture strategies in the commercial and defense maritime industries.

- Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions with particular emphasis on US Army or USMC industries and a history of zero-to-one defense program growth.

- An aptitude and appetite to thrive within organizations with nascent structure, high-ownership culture, and a 'whatever it takes' environment.

- A knack for knocking out deliverables in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a level head, strong interpersonal skills, and executive gravitas.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience with DoD Capture and Sales.

- Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of autonomous systems and/or crewed aviation.

- 2-3 years consultant in the Aerospace and Defense Field.

- Expertise in defense and commercial industries or complex engineering systems.

Salary Information: The salary range for this role is $191,000-$253,000 USD.
