As a Staff Software Development Engineer – Java, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, efficient microservices that power our applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Independently design and develop cost-effective application and program solutions

- Lead or act as chief technical contributor to translation business requirements to technical specifications

- Lead or act as a technical contributor in the design of new applications or enhancements including integration of purchased solutions

- Perform and assist other team members in providing ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and on-call support tasks for existing systems

- Oversee or perform unit testing, functional integration and system testing

- Support the implementation of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions

- Responsible for Code Asset Management for an application or set of applications

- Lead or act as a subject matter expert for projects and/or service requests impacting an application or set of applications

**Required qualifications:**

- 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications

- 5+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices and spring boot framework /REST

- 5+ years of experience Cloud Technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and Knowledge of open-source packages

- 2+ years of experience in React JS, Nodejs or other front-end frameworks

- 5+ years of experience in Database – SQL, NoSQL, table structure, data relationships

- 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices

**Preferred qualifications:**

- Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare domain will be preferred

- Knowledge with GraphQL/gRPC

- Expert knowledge of software engineering best practices with experience building complex software engineering products

- Extensive experience with building and driving adoption of software engineering best practices

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures

- Worked as Full Stack Developer with experience on building mission critical /highly scalable application with large user/infrastructure footprint

- Strong background in software development, project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team

**Pay Range:** $130,295.00 - $260,590.00
