## Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking Principal Risk Associate to help advance our Business Cards and Payments (BC&P) operational strategy. You will help lead automation, artificial intelligence, and innovative ways to elevate the maturity of our operational processes along with ensuring proper regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a passion for innovation, improvements, and compliance. You thrive on staying ahead of the curve, utilizing the latest industry trends and technological advancements to optimize internal processes.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Regulatory Oversight: Working with the business to ensure proper implementation of processes/programs to be compliant with new regulatory laws like Dodd-Frank Section 1071.

- GenAI Governance: Partner with GenAI Director to ensure a well-managed approach for GenAI across BC&P pre and post-implementation.

- LAUNCH Initiative: Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the LAUNCH is efficient for BC&P by monitoring and managing the implementation of the change initiative, track progress, adjust as needed.

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

- At least 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Process Management, Compliance, or Audit

- At least 3 years of experience working with business and risk teams to drive cross-functional operational initiatives

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 5+ years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Process Management, Compliance, or Audit

- Proven track record of transforming operational workflows and enhancing process maturity through the implementation of automation, data-driven insights, and technology-led solutions

- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities autonomously

- Experience leveraging automation tools such as: GenAI, workflow automation, or data visualization to transform operational workflows
