## Description

We are seeking a Deck Manager to oversee exceptional housekeeping services in guest accommodation areas. As a Deck Manager with Holland America Group, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance of all guest areas and service locations.

### Key Responsibilities

- Manage staterooms, corridors, HK pantries, and steward stations on assigned decks, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met.

- Conduct daily inspections of guest staterooms, corridors, HK pantries, and steward stations.

- Maintain accurate records and report maintenance issues.

- Enforce compliance with public health-related cleaning and sanitization.

- Supervise and lead a team of Stateroom Stewards and Assistant Stateroom Stewards.

- Manage baggage collection and distribution on assigned decks.

### Requirements

- College or university degree/diploma in hospitality management or related field preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry.

- Preferred 1 year of shipboard experience within the Housekeeping Services environment.

- Cruise industry experience is preferred.

### Skills

- Working knowledge of computers and software programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Experience with shipboard/hospitality-related software, including AIMS, iInspector, Micros/Fidelio, Crunchtime, etc.
