## Description

The MHPSS Consultant Type B (National) will contribute to the work of IOM Tunisia’s Migration Health Division (MHD). The consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Migration Health Officer and in close coordination with MHD physicians, nurses and other relevant MHD personnel.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments of beneficiaries referred through MHD Medical Direct Assistance.

- Provide individual psychological consultations and brief, evidence-informed psychosocial interventions.

- Undertake follow-up consultations for beneficiaries receiving MHD DA when clinically indicated.

- Participate in relevant multidisciplinary case discussions with MHD physicians and other authorized health staff.

- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records of psychological consultations, assessments, interventions, referrals and follow-up.

Qualifications:

- University degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a closely related field.

- At least two years of relevant professional experience in psychological assessment, counselling, mental health or psychosocial support.

- Professional registration/licensing or authorization to practice psychology in Tunisia, where applicable.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary health team.

- Ability to work with vulnerable beneficiaries in a culturally sensitive and non-judgmental manner.

- Good clinical judgment within the scope of professional competence and the consultancy.

- Strong documentation, organization and follow-up skills.

- Strong psychological assessment, counselling and communication skills.
