## Description

Ford of Canada is seeking a Test Developer, Automation to join the Data Collection Platform (DCP) software test team. You will work on cutting-edge embedded software development, focusing on system components that provide enabling frameworks or additional functional services above the operating system services and drivers.

The successful candidate will define, design, and build DCP software test methodologies to provide a scalable distributed framework used by applications and services on various modules in the vehicle network.

**Responsibilities**

- Review requirements and architecture documents to formulate test strategy, design test cases, and develop test automation scripts.

- Execute manual and automated tests, review test results, analyze issues, and validate fixes.

- Ensure issues found are properly tracked throughout the software life cycle.

- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum sprints.

- Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements and implement required test tools and test scripts.

- Effectively communicate test status and issues with test leads, developers, feature owners, and management.

- Participate in ongoing process improvements including test case maintenance, defect escape analysis, and rainy-day test scenario review.

- Integrate and customize individualized AI Agents to generate and improve test cases.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical areas.

- 3-5 years of overall testing experience.

- 3+ years of experience in Python development.

- Knowledge of AI agents’ usage and skill generation.

**Benefits**

- Expected annual salary range: $96,000.00- $146,000.00
