## Description

The purpose of the role is to manage the production process through effective management of people working on their shift, and to ensure quality, production and safety key performance indicators are achieved.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental and human resources policies, procedures, objectives and regulations, managing and developing the performance of the team, and conducting root cause analysis and resolving problems.

The role also involves investigating and rectifying any staff performance issues, ensuring labour costs are managed within agreed levels, and consistently promoting high standards through personal example and roll out through the team.

Additional responsibilities include communicating KPIs from the annual plan, carrying out complaint investigations, supporting/leading CI projects, contributing to improving/maintaining GPTW scores, and developing training plans to upskill and cross train team members.

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years' food manufacturing experience, with SAP/SCADA experience and qualifications in maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).

They will also have Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP and Food Safety desirable, and Lamb Weston funded ILM and PPT.
