## Description

Join the Alpine F1 Team as a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer in our Suspension Design group at Enstone. This role involves leading a team and delivering high-performance designs to help achieve podiums and race wins.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Mechanical and lead their team technically and managerially. Responsibilities include:

- Working with department heads to determine technical requirements

- Taking ownership of Detailed Design Specifications and Project plans

- Carrying out conceptual work using simulation outcomes and 3D modelling

- Leading a group of engineers to deliver on schedule, on budget, and within constraints

- Approving the work of team members as part of the design process

The ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar senior role, ideally within F1 or another high-level motorsport. They should be educated to degree level in Engineering, have knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials technology, and preferably have CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX or NX.
