## Description

RBC Investor & Treasury Services is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead a team of Fund Accountants in delivering timely and accurate daily NAVs for a group of mutual funds.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Leading a team of Fund Accountants in delivering timely and accurate daily NAVs for a group of mutual funds

- Delivering timely and accurate year-end and month-end distributions

- Ensuring all deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met

- Monitoring the team's quality and performance

- Enhancing productivity and effective relationships with other departments

- Minimizing NAV discrepancies and ensuring timely corrective action

- Implementing projects including new fund launches and fund mergers

- Ensuring that resources are effectively managed to deal with an increase/decrease in the number of funds

- Supporting the introduction of new technology and operational processes to effectively reduce cost, increase the quality of service and ensure accuracy

- Running client/fund event planning meetings

- Completing annual & semi-annual performance reviews for staff

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field

- Extensive experience in fund valuations

- 5+ years of managerial experience specifically within a fund accounting environment

- Strong knowledge of the fund industry, products, and financial markets

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Investment Funds

- Good technical knowledge of calculating Net Asset Value

- Knowledge of Accounting standards

- Strong Analytical skills, ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, and exceptional problem-solving abilities

- Strong leadership & interpersonal skills

- Fund Accounting System knowledge (MPower)
