## Description

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Corporate Communications (LAC) to lead the regional external communications strategy across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The successful candidate will deliver on Mastercard's regional external communications strategy, acting as a trusted counselor to business leads and extended members of the communications team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Executing the regional external communications strategy, aligned with global priorities and regional business objectives

- Leading storytelling across innovation, partnerships, financial inclusion, and digital transformation

- Driving executive thought leadership for regional executives and visiting regional/global executives

- Building paid and earned visibility across business, financial, technology, trade, consumer and policy media

- Advancing regional crisis communications strategies and frameworks

- Leading communications initiatives for regional launches/partnerships/campaigns

- Executing the region's social media strategy for LinkedIn and YouTube

- Managing agency and vendor partners

- Using approved communications and AI tools to strengthen measurement, insights and reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven communications experience across corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, journalism, agency or related fields

- Strong knowledge of LAC's news media landscape

- Proven track record developing strategic communications programs that strengthen reputation and deliver measurable results

- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills

- Strong business acumen and experience preparing senior leaders on communications initiatives

- Digitally savvy and visually minded, with experience using social platforms, analytics, measurement tools and approved AI solutions

- Collaborative, culturally aware and highly organized, with strong project, agency and stakeholder management skills

- Experience working in matrixed organizations (regional vs. local)

- Data-driven mindset with focus on impact and performance

- Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus)

Mastercard offers a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
