## Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to produce WSP engineering related project deliverables involved in Power Generation projects in the US.

## Responsibilities

- Lead and support Electrical Engineer on design of power generation projects

- Lead and support Electrical Engineer on the design of renewable energy projects

- Lead and support Electrical Engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades

- Lead and support Electrical Engineer on federal electrical system upgrades

- Mentor and teach Junior Engineers

- Project proposal and budget development

- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

## Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

- 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.

- 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design

- Engineer in Training Certification.

- CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience

- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

## Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Engineering.

- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.

- Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus

- 3+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus

- 3+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
